Seattle-based Avanade says manufacturers looking to implement AI in their production processes should consider the cloud as cost-effective vehicle for onboarding and operation. In February advertorial for www.CIO.com, the vendor says that working with partner-provider Microsoft, headquartered in nearby Redmond, WA, offers advantages in a sector where systems are developing at speed.

Tom Nall,  whose remit at the company includes the automotive industry, cites access to expanded datasets that augment proprietary flows as a key value-generator for manufacturers. The faster training of Machine Learning models they facilitate boots efficiency and innovation in manufacturing processes, he says.
